History

Founded in 2000, Visiant represents a dynamic, concrete and innovative provider of Information and Communication Technology consulting, services and solutions to enterprises.
The company has grown steadily over its 6 years of operation under the Softpeople brand.
Acquisitions, an ever expanding offering, continual growth in know-how and specialist skills have enabled Visiant to respond successfully to new market demands and set itself increasingly ambitious goals.

At the end of its first year, Visiant already had a workforce of 370 employees and revenues of €20 million. Year on year the company has continued to meet expectations, achieving exceptional growth (average rate over 2000-2006: + 35%) especially in view of the overall weakness of the IT market.

The company reported revenue for FY 2009 of € 140 and more than 2000 employees.

Such results are the fruit of teamwork by capable and motivated people, a management determined to respond effectively to increasing complexity, and the 30-year IT industry experience of the company's founders, in particular of its President Luciano Marini.
